Official Game Rules
Art. 1. Rules
The game rules must be respected and accepted without any discussion.
Arena staff is the only judge about the rules.
The rules apply both to game and to forum
Art. 2. Rules principles
- The aim of the rules is to save the rights and freedom of the players to avoid violation in the future
- So Game rules set some responsability principles and describe which are the violation, his level of violation and the punishments
- Rules high concept
Any character is judged in the same way in front of the law
The punishment will be related to the violation
Art. 3. Categories and description of the violations.
- A violation is a bad action against the world of Arena, forbidden by this rules.
- Based on the kind and the level of the violation, the violations themselves are divided in light violations, heavy violations
Art. 4. Reiteration
- It is called light reiteration of the Violation the act to do more violation for a period of 14 days or to do more violations at the same time
- It is called light recidivity of the Violation, the act to do a violation within 14 days after a judged violations
- It is called heavy reiteration of the Violation the act to do more violation for a period of 24 hours or to do more violations at the same time
- It is called heavy recidivity of the Violation, the act to do a violation within 24 hours after a judged violations
Art. 5. Description of the punishments
- The punishement is an obliged act made by law representants adn to change the behiaviour of the person involved in the violation
Kind of punishement- Warning
- Movement and/or deleting of the topic (forum)
- Read only abilitation for a limited period od time
- Chat silence spell for a limited period
- Account block for a limited period
Art. 6. Punishment application
- The person guilty will be punished in the limits of the present rules
- If there is reiteration or recidivity the punishment can be doubled
- The punishment can be discussed only through email help.arena@kalicanthus.it
Posting on the forum about a punishment is considered a heavy violation
Server violation
Light violations are:
- Bad language in the chat, in the label or in the registration.
- Flood, spam
- Adverting in the chat about not allowed transaction
- Begging
- Discussing the actions of the moderators or the staff in the game with the staff itself also using another account.
- Not authorized use of Caps Lock
Punishment applied:
- Warning
- Chat silence spell for a 10- 30 minutes
In the case of recidivity:
- Chat silence spell for a 30- 60 minutes
In the case of heavy recidivity:
- Chat silence spell for 3 days
Violations are:
- Offending moderators or staff, arguing about decision of moderators or staff in the chat
- Offending other players
- Try to corrupt or threat moderators or staff
- Speaking about drugs or publishing links ot Web site speaking about drugs
- Advertising web site not connected to Arena Online
- Sentence or words containing elements of racism, religion, politics, sex
- Any discrimination based on sex, race, nationality, social position, place where living, religion, politics
Punishment applied:
- Chat silence spell for a 30- 120 minutes
In the case of recidivity:
- Chat silence spell for a 120- 240 minutes
In the case of heavy recidivity:
- Chat silence spell for 7 days
Medium violations are:
- To be a liar speaking to moderators or staff
- Slander (speaking about fake information with the aim to say bad things about the victim
- Physical threats against a person
- Refusing to cancel offensive words from personal information or to change a pornographic avatar
- Divulgating personal information about other players without their authorization
- Using not legally the Auction
- Using the Help chat channel for any porpouse different form Helping
Punishment applied:
- Chat silence spell for a 60- 120 minutes
- Account banned for 12 hours
In the case of recidivity:
- Account banned for 24 hours
In the case of heavy recidivity:
- Account banned for 2 days
Heavy violations are:
- Offensive words or against gods in the login
- Ransom
- Force other players to do actions not wanted
- Steal to the others (hackering an account, stealing game money, accounts, any method to get other property without authorization
- Any commercial transaction using real money outside the authorized channel
- Doc attacks, unauthorized use of errors of the program
- Divulgating web site links with virus or worm or program to do any hacker actions
- Speaking about any kind of rebellion
- Using ad own advantage any bugs- the bug list will be updated here
- Possibility to avoid mob aggros using the log-off technique
- Illegal usage of multiaccount. Also if multiaccount is absolutely legal, it is forbidden to us it for:
- Create spies to infiltrate into opponent races
- Create characters with the aim to damage opponents
- Create characters to farm souls or doing any action to create an advantage to the main character
- Usage of any external program to have an advantage in the game
- Usage of fights in illegal way, like characters which agree to exchange mutual advantages for fighting each other
Punishment applied:
- Account banned for a time established by the staff
Staff can also delete any advantage gained through the illegal action
Forum Violation
Besides all the above rules, in the forum:
It's strictly forbidden to speak in any way about violations made by other players in the forum.
The punishment applied is the immediate ban of the player
Any discussion or notice should be sent through email
Besides it's forbidden to post PM on the forum
We remind that the staff doesn't usually answer to PM, so can be contacted through public forum or customer care email
Guild Violation
Any responibility is only personal, but Rules set that a guild can be disbanded if:
- A great number of Guild members do violations especially against moderators or staff
- One or more Guild members do continuate violation of the rules: in this case the Guild Leader has 3 days to disband that member or the Guild will be disbanded
- One or more Guild members do flames with other Guilds: in this case the Guild Leader has 3 days to disband that member or the Guild will be disbanded
- If the violation is made by the Guild Leader, the Guild is automatically disbanded
Controls
Staff informs that controlls are made in two ways:
- Random controls made by the staff
- Notice made by players through email, with a screen, date, hour and name of the players involved. Staff will comunicate only on public forum any decision but the staff appreciate any notice, reminding the slader is a violation
